What is LOGURU Pulse?

 LOGURU Pulse is a quick to apply business improvement model that identifies key weaknesses and opportunities for improvement in small and medium logistics businesses. The model covers 12 areas of a business that may require focus and attention to give your business the best chance of moving to recovery and then into profitable growth. The 12 areas of focus are:

We help you determine the 4 key priorities for focus. 

How long does it take?

In the shortest time possible. Once we agree when you want us to be with you, we will work with you across 5 days. Once our assessment is complete, we will give our recommendations to you the week following our visit with you. So within a week, you will have a clarity on where you need to focus and how - all based on data and evidence from your own business.

A team of 5 experienced logistics and supply chain professionals that understand your business and operations in all of the focus areas above. We have people that have been your customers, people that have run transport & warehouse operations, people that have implemented and optimised multiple business systems, people that understand how to get more from your customers and people that understand business and how to form a winning strategy for recovery and growth. All of our professionals are viewed as experts in their fields, are friendly, non-judgemental and will speak your language.

Why did we start LOGURU Pulse?

Simply we have been watching a large number of great logistics businesses fail and wanted to do something about it. We have so much knowledge and experience and it would be wrong of us not to try to help.

How much will it cost you?

We wanted to ensure that we did not place barriers in front of businesses that we can help. We all know how some consultancies can be, charging you an arm and a leg to look at your watch and tell you the time. When LOGURU was founded 7 years ago, we did not want to be like all of the others, we wanted to be a business that the logistics industry would want to work with. The most frequent feedback from our clients is that they really trust us and that they always receive more than expected.

We are targeting small and medium sized businesses, so the first thing we have done is knock off over 30% of our normal rate for carrying out work such as this. In addition, we are offering to carry out the process on a fixed charge basis - that will be £10,000 plus VAT, inclusive of travel and any accommodation costs.

When calculating this price we have made some assumptions on scale and location of business. If your business is at the smaller end of the scale and you feel this is too much, come and talk to us and we will see if we can agree something that works for you. If you are a larger, say, multi-site business - then we ask you to be fair and let us agree a price that is workable for us both.

What happens once the process is complete?

It is entirely your choice. You will have clarity on the areas of improvement and what needs to change. Following this you could simply go and address all of the needed changes yourself.

However, we are happy to act as mentors on a light touch basis to coach you through your recovery and into growth. Additionally, we are well equipped to manage larger projects on your behalf too.
