Introduction

Proud father of two girls and seven adorable grandchildren ranging from 3 to 10 years of age. As head of the family (although my wife may disagree) I need to have very deep pockets and am the go to person for DIY and the repairing of any broken toys.  

As an IT professional I have many year’s experience in global manufacturing covering many sectors and company life cycles in all areas from Systems Design, Development, Implementation and Support to wide area networks and mobile installations.

Background

I have always been drawn to the Supply Chain having early roles as Production Manager and Materials Management Manager which covered the day to day management of the purchasing, materials control and warehousing functions.

I was very fortunate to have worked for American Standard that aloud me to grow and learn at a very fast pace while assigned to the corporate IT projects team as part of a global team designing and implementing software to support lean manufacturing over the 4 global divisions of American Standard that ranged from Automotive to medical devices.

Nearing the year 2000 I was selected to join the UK SAP project to address the Y2K issue. This then lead to me becoming the European SAP Supply Chain Leader spending 6 years rolling out a standard SAP system across Europe.

In 2009 I became CIO talking full responsibility for the IT function working in a venture capitalist environment and all the changes that brings.
